Wolfgang Schönharting studied mathematics, physics and computer science at the Technical University Munich and life sciences at the LMU Munich. He earned his PhD on a scholarship at the University of Bremen. He then studied law, graduating as a fully qualified lawyer. He subsequently devoted himself to the fields of technical and biological cybernetics in the area of sustainable energy production, hydrogen and fuel cell research in the context of ecological cycles. In addition to his own research projects in Brazil, Vietnam and Portugal, he held management positions at Siemens Solar and Shell Solar with country responsibility. Personally confronted with unmet medical needs in traditional cancer therapies, he switched his focus on medical  cybernetics and worked on cellular and molecular biological as well as immunological issues in the context of developing new possibilities in cancer therapy.  Successful and promising results of several years of research in  his institute for applied cancer research then led to the foundation of PMCR GmbH.
