Our historical background is a cancer research and development institute that was initiated by affected cancer patients in practical need. Patients where tumors had already metastasized and where the repertoire of existing medical therapeutic options aimed at tumor containment had been largely exhausted.
In our efforts to close this existing gap in the medical care of cancer patients, we came across the fact that the foundations for promising solutions had already been laid in the scientific community over the past 10-20 years. The solutions had just not yet managed to find their way out of the universities and institutes and into clinical practice. It was therefore necessary to lift this treasure trove of knowledge and make it available for practical therapy, even for advanced tumor diseases.
PMCR GmbH, with the involvement of leading experts in scientific and medical fields, has developed new precise, immunological therapy options for cancer patients. The basis is formed by the latest scientific findings in the development and progression of this disease and the interaction with the patient’s own immune defense system. For this purpose, PMCR has developed 3 knowledge-platforms (BITAP, BIVAP and BISS), which in interaction in analysis and diagnosis, as well as for therapeutic application, represent a milestone in precision medicine.
The goal of our work is to translate these highly precise and individualized new cancer immunotherapy options into clinical practice for the benefit of cancer patients as quickly as possible.
In order to achieve this goal, we support physicians and clinics as a service company with our methods in the development and application of personalized treatments.
